Winter is coming :S

Hello, quick update from Finland.

This week has been awesome weather, picture is from yesterday.
My wife´s friend took it when she was training horse.
Place is frozen lake near where i live.
You see not so much anyone else around.
In Finland you can really enjoy silence and nature.

This morning was nice and crisp weather. Seems to be sunny day again.

Thanks, i have to admit most of this winter has been really dark and bad weather.
But february has been nice, best part of winter for me. We still have march, that is also full winter month.
I try to rent snowmobile from my friend, and then i can take some nice pictures from nature and post those here.

That's absolutely stunning to look at , however not so sure about being able to handle that kind of temperature........bbbbbrrrrrrrrr.

We are used to, and in my opinion autumn and endless raining is much worse than -25 and sun.
Arctic clothing, cars have preheaters (petrol or electric), houses do have 3 layer windows, fireplaces, saunas..
All different things for surviving winter
I always wear enough clothes if car fails, you have to survive outside until help comes.

spot on advice..i always do it too just in case you get stranded...plenty drinks,food and warm clothes in the car...

It is super cool after long and dark winter to have this much of light. Finns are going crazy..
90% facebook updates are about weather and sun..
