Looking at a new set of wheels and was wondering if a 17x8 et40 would fit the clio

i think you would need a higher offset more like et55, as et40 would stick behond the arches.

i was thinking that, but there fairly hard to find, im sure ive read someone has et45 and they had some room

ive got et45 on mine but they are 17x7.5, and theres very little room left on them

Would 17x8's stick out even more then?? I know they'll stick out 5mm more anyway but will it be even more as it's a 17x8

They would stick out about 11mm, the extra 5mm on the offset plus 6mm from tge extra half inch on the width

Just been out and measured and it will be very tight, fine on the rear but the fronts tight

Youll be wanted et50/55 on that size of wheel
