Im from rotherham but for most my stuff i use CAS in bradford, they are more of a powder coater then wheel refurbers though.

So give them a skim of filler and sand first then they powder coat them for a quid an inch so 17 quid a wheel.

172quid got me 4 16's fully re done, tyres on and off, new chrome valves and caps. same day turn around.


Metal magic in barnsley... good at what they do averagely priced but they needed my wheels a whole week!

'Spray on' in barnsley did me a decent but not perfect job of a set of 16's at 30 quid a wheel.

i use the leeds branch as they are just round the corner - cant fault there service and what they do - even had a full set of wheels repainted due to 2 wheels having a paint finish issue - and the warranty only had 4 days to run !

Mg wheels need a special base to ensure the powder sticks, otherwise it bubbles and chips really easily. Ensure whoever does it knows what they're doing.

Also, if they're track wheels, tell them not to coat the bolt holes and face that mounts to the disc... it's REALLY annoying when it melts and loosens your wheels!!
