The cup race car set up has a longer bottom arm, also a longer stronger anti rotation link along with 5mm front spacers, the spacer was allowed within the rules and supplied by Renault.
All cup race cars ran rear shims to achieve toe and camber, this also gave a wider rear track. They never ran rear spacers as the rules did not allow it.
If you wanted to run 3 degree rear camber, you had to put in 3 x 1 degree shims, you are not allowed to run 6 x 30' shims as this gives you a wider track as stated in the rule book.
