Wheel nut

Yesterday i was going to change my rear discs and pads and brake lines and was loosening my wheel nuts but when trying to take the locking wheel nut off the socket sort of slipped off the wheel and i thought wierd...lol had a look and the star that inserts into wheel nut has broke! so i went to get the spare and i found that star has completly gone too :thumb1:

Can i just order a new locking nut or do i have to go to the garage and have it fitted so to speak?

you will need a new set of locking nuts+you will have to take it to a garage to get the other ones taken of unless you got the tool to get them off

If you have the box the nuts came with they should have a number you can use to reorder the key. Sometimes written in the handbook too!

As arran said, you should have the code to re-order a removal tool. But it sounds like the bolts are a bit too tight so you might just break the replacement too!

if you dont do it properly it will foock up ya wheels
