What headlights do the 197 have?

I have a 2007 197, and want to know what headlights they come with as standard.

Reflector or projector?

And how do I go about changing these to xenons?
I saw another thread where someone said you shouldnt put HID bulbs in reflector headlights.

Also are the bulbs i need H1 (sidelights) and H7 (main beam)?

Unless you have bought a special edition, I'm pretty sure that projectors were an optional extra. My 197 has reflectors with H7 main beams. I have recently fitted some Philips Blue Vision bulbs that give a pure white light. Recommended.

ok so i have reflectors - what is the best (and legal) way of turning these into xenons without making them dazzle people?

I bought some of these and they are great. Pure white light (not blue) and not at all chavvy. There are plenty of posts on here about bulb colour temp. The higher the number, the bluer the light, the lower, the yellower.
