And many other things but the Golf is winning me over, just not sure if i want to spend that amount on a car yet

Pre-facelift 330i MSport Touring Auto. Wnat something comfier and practical over the next 12mths or so, but still not snooze-worthy. One of the last of the great n/a BM straight sixes will do me.

Struggling to find them though in a decent spec.

I'm getting to an age when I look back at cars of the past and I have a real hankering to get a hold of a Fiat 127GT 5 Speed. My first ever car when I was 18. Trouble is they are as rare as hen,s teeth and as far as I can find out only 14 are registered in th UK now. If anyone see's or hear's of one let me know cause I'll sell my wife to get one.

Had a look around one at the weekend, and I think/hope the Clio will be replaced with a Toyota GT86/Subaru BRZ VERY nice bits of kit.

They're like sporty go karts, with cheapish running costs (similar to the Clio in every way except the build quality). When I sat in it and lowered the seat (presumably the person before me was a short middle aged woman) my legs were out in front of me and my arms bent just a little.... perfect! Honestly can't fault them other than their choice of aspiration as the Clio has made me a little tired of strung out N/A's and I really wanted a change. Oh well its more than likely a couple more years off..

Their is already turbo and supercharger kits out for them, jap cars have so much choice of aftermarket tuning

I'd like a GT86. I got a brochure for a BZR earlier on today, but I'm not sure if they offer the same 5 year warranty as Toyota do on the 86. Problem is, they're a fair bit slower than my MPS and no where near as practical, although in the Subaru book it says that the 'folding rear seats offer enough room for a set of track wheels and tyres'! From what I have heard, the standard tyres are a eco ones and don't give a lot of grip.

The Subaru ETCO scheme is awesome, one of the best warranties around.

If your happy with the MPS and can wait, then give it two years. By then both Toyota (probably branded TRD) and Subaru (STI) will have brought out the hotter models. That'll either bring down the cost of the current 'basic' ones or provide something with more speed if that's what you want. Or at least that's what I'm hoping for since, with a wedding, honeymoon and deposit for 2nd house on the cards, my Clio will be staying around longer than I first thought lol!
