Water Ingress

I have started to get water coming in the passenger footwell from what seems to be from behind the glove box.

It happened on my Mum's 2004 Clio when the water soak aways under the bonnet had become blocked.

I can hear the water moving around infront of the windscreen when I turn corners and what I need to know is where the water outlets are located under the bonnet.

I think it is usually just a rubber tube but could someone please confirm its location maybe by way of a picture from a workshop manual please?

you need to remove the windscreen wipers and the plastic trim, the holes are behind the the suspensions top mounts i think.

As above really, windscreen wipers off, plastic cover off and then in either corner is a rubber tube for getting rid of the water. These are probably blocked. When I did mine I managed to hook them out and get all the crud out and then just pushed them back in.

Also while you've got it apart it's worth taking the wiper mechanism out, stripping it down and giving it a grease up as the spindle bits the wipers bolt onto have a habit of seizing up.
