Warranty job?

All,

The glovebox in my 200 is sagging on the right hand side, should this be replaced under warranty if I go in and complain?

Thanks

Had mine adjusted last week don't know how they did it as I've tried myself but it spot on now.

Just that my warranty is up in August and I am considering squeezing every last drop out of it

Don't mind adjusting it myself but thought I read on here somewhere before that there is no way of doing that?

A small bit of anti rattle tape worked a treat. £2 mod and very effective:smile: By filling this extra gap there (that sounds naughty) with this tape (1 layer will do), you force the lid to stay where it should and not to drop from one side. It worked for me anyway:wink:

It must just be the black ones, i stripped a car last week and the glove box is fine.

Apart from the fact it's beige.

I haven't got any more pics mate I'm afraid, only the outcome which shows the sorted glovebox. Have a look here (pic heavy)

First post, towards the end.

Post 93.

Basically it's the bit where the latch of the lid catches the glovebox. I did it while the glovebox was off the car (working on something else) but you can do it without doing so. Apply a small layer of that tape there and you're done, 1 minute job really.

The picture shows the top of the glovebox, which obviously is not visible when it is on the car.
