Uprated pads on standard discs

Has anyone used a high performance pad (ds2500 or blue stuff) on the standard front discs? Struggled on the track yesterday so brake upgrade essential!

A very popular upgrade the DS2500 pads are. Good compromise pad for road and light track use.

No problem pairing other pads with the OEM disks.

In my experience the best combination is a standard plain disc such as a brembo HC and your pad of choice. I find ferodo ds1.11 very good, but they aren't cheap.
