Tyre fitting and alignment in Staffordshire?

Any recommendations? Had the wheels off for a deep clean today and noticed very uneven tyre wear. Been meaning to get the tracking checked for a while now, but I'll definitely need a new set of tyres for the front now :thumbdown:

Noticed blackcircles.com quote the Continental SC5 for a cheaper fitted price than the SC3 - seems worthwhile to upgrade?

Is it worth travelling a bit to ensure the car is in good hands, or just find the nearest and cheapest as it's only tyres and alignment?

I'd definitely go for the SC5 as they're the better tyre.

Go to a decent place, not so important for the tyre fitment but you need a decent place to do the tracking. Try and find somewhere with a hunter laser alignment setup.

Looked a little into the cost of alignment, got a quote of ~£35 for all four wheels using the latest alignment tech at chemix (http://www.chemix-autocentres.co.uk/) - does this sound like a reasonable price? In need of a mate who is a mechanic! :001_rolleyes:

The chem by us is really good for wheel alignment you see a lot of top cars there every weekend + my son has his done there in his trophy
