Do tunepoints charge an iPod and can you control the iPod from the stereo.?

I read somewhere that they do charge the iPods (not the touch/iPhones though)

I have a tune point in mine, charges my iPhone fine, also with standard HU you can controll them using stalk controls, it'll only bring up track 1 etc and not names. Unless the one you are buying/got has the cable for the apple range, then this will need purchased sept. I was lucky enough to get a mate make one disappear for me lol

I've got the little box tune point and not inbuilt one in HU, lead I have charges mine no bother

Mine charges if it is connected by the cable but also works great via the bluetooth, got the tom tom app and when playing music via phone on bluetooth it turns volume down to give you the directions, really happy with it

Tunepoint cool but wont show phone directory on display from phone. That aside, love it.....
