Has anyone tried a TMPS rather than just use a gauge at track days?

I saw someone on Facebook suggesting a cheap system like this.

Or has anyone gone in to this a bit further and got sone TPMS valves installed in their wheels to avoid getting the sensors on top of the valve welded on to their wheels due to heat?

My 2 pence worth. A physical gauge can't lie and that would remain my proffered option.
