So just had my manifold replaced for the toyo option. Garage had one on the shelf so he said they will supply and fit for 200 quid so a bargain pretty much but one problem, THAT FLAT SPOT! Car feels so gutless now below 4k. I knew about this but i never thought it would be this bad. Has anyone else had it this bad? The flatspot was never really that bad before i replaced it, plenty of power from 2k onwards now its just shamefull. I wouldnt say its down on power top end just bottom end. The power delivery is all over the shop now its not linear like it was. So my question is has anyone had it the same and will a remap sort most of this out? Cheers
 
Yes mine has a toyosport manifold and oreca exhaust system. It made a big noticeable difference. It rs tuning improved mine massively.

Cheers. Rs tuning are one of my 2 options. Its either them or i buy the rs tuner box from fast chip.
 
I wasn't impressed with my Fast Chips 'custom' map by Henk, Paul at RS Tuning made 22bhp (19bhp@wheels) more than the Fast Chips effort.
Brief details were I arrived at RS Tuning with a Fast Chips/Henk map, run on the RR - 193bhp. After Paul worked his magic - 215bhp.

There is no substitute for mapping a car properly and in person.
 
Just to point out with [MENTION=38628]TB Rich[/MENTION] 's car is heavily modified, dont expect 215hp at RS tuning from a standard clio!
 
Lol i know it wont make those figures im hoping it will come out with 190ish. I will get on the phone to rs tuning then. Cheers guys
