Tinny 'tapping' at high revs

Hello all.

I have a slight problem, just wondering if anyone has had this before?

Only at higher revs (5k plus) whenever I lift off or apply the throttle I get a light 'tap' that comes from the front of the car. When I change gear at very high revs it will give a couple of taps in between gears.

Anyone had this before? Renault are looking at it tomorrow but I fear it could be a new gearbox the car has done 20k by the way.

Is it a single tap or more like a rattle for half a second or so?

More like a rattle when changing gear at real high revs. But a tap when coming on and off the throttle.

Try looking at the top stabliser bar, theres a cover on the side of it that come loose, and makes a tappy rattle

Where is that located?

Its the mount that connects from the bulkhead to the top of the cam belt cover right of the the engine bay.
