Things to look out for

Hi

The 200 will be the first brand new, built to spec car I have owned and I wondered if you have any tips/advice on what to look out for when accepting delivery from the dealership?

Obviously I will check the options I picked are all correct but is there anything else I need to check/look out for please?

Thanks

check all the paperwork
locking wheel bolt nut x2
check over the bodywork - swirls and paint runs - mis-aligned panels etc
make sure everything works BEFORE you drive off
under bonnet levels are correct (if it was me i would be checking the tyre pressures as well !!!)
interior trim for any scuffs/scratches etc

Is there anything specific I need to look for/check on the paperwork or is it just standard V5?

What should the tyre pressure be?

make sure the car is outside in natural light
when i picked mine up it was inside when i
checked it over and all looked good but when they drove
it out the showroom into the light i saw a 3in scratch on
the rear quarter:swear:

On a new car you dont get a V5, DVLA post one out to you. Speaking of which they have changed the design on the V5 now and it looks cool, all red, white and blue. Mostly red looks like the Norway flag now

Make sure the front page of the warranty/service book is filled in and stamped by the dealer. New cars you shouldnt have and problems with, touch wood.

Got the following so far:

Factory fitted options (as per invoice)
Road tax (12 months)
Interior for scuffs, scratches
Exterior panels for paint defects, miss aligned panels scratches etc
Top up bottle of oil
Tyre foam and toolkit (no jack in the FF 200)
Auto Wipers & Lights (FF 200 only)
Tyre pressure - 34 front 31 rears
Locking wheel nuts x’s 2
Warranty/service book (front page completed/stamped by dealer)
Instruction manual
Renault assistance policy/details

Have I missed anything? :tongueout: lol

i think its 32 front 30 back i could be mistaken. (tyre pressure)

locking wheel nuts x2 1/ 17mm 1/ 19mm

34 front 31 rears tyre pressure

But to be fair, that's easily sorted if they're not correct. You'd look really sad going round with your pressure gauge!!!
