The perfect N/A build??

So what would make the perfect N/A build and how much power/torque could you achieve with the F4r in NA form? You could easily see a 9K rev limit or possibly more.

A few items that look good contenders for the build are:

Some lairy cams.

Forged Rods and Pistons:

Catcam finger followers:

Valves:

Solid lifter/lash cap set:

Cat cam Springs:

obviously its not just about those parts, I'm sure there's some head work to consider, in fact you need to modify the head to fit the catcam followers.

What else would need to be considered? Head gasket? Bearings? Head bolts? Stand alone ecu? I guess the list could be endless and yes you could buy another car for the cost but that's not what this post is about.

RenaultSport do a 250 kit for the R3 so thats probably the most its going to give with reliability.

Simoxmino uses a few parts from that kit in his car. The best NA car on here imo

I think it could easily live with more, no doubt the 250 kit is complying with some race regs

In addition, I would want a better exhaust manifold to allow for enlarged exhaust ports. Jenvey Throttle bodies (working on a setup with better length than any of the existing kits)
This is what I'm currently trying to turn into a worthwhile kit:

Cams...Need to identify what pistons allow higher lift for the 197 as with stock pistons you're quite limited

Those tb inlets look very impressive Danny.

What about vvt delete, does this provide more score?

The maxi pistons give good clearance but they are higher compression

I didn't make that inlet, it's a prototype from a while ago that was sidelined because of the issue of running the standard dash properly, although it is on a car and still running nearly 4 years on. I'm emulating and improving the design

vvt delete is pointless, just gives less control

Higher compression is great for N/A!!

in the proccess of getting a engine built at the moment
maxi pistons, rods, single piece valves, uprated springs, cat cam 403's,
had vvt delete with vernier pulleys on my 172 engine and got very good results so will probably do the same on this
will keep posted once it is done

Sounds interesting, just noticed your PM, I'll get you the list over tomorrow
