I'm replacing my sump gasket due to a slight oil leak and wondered if anyone had any dealings with doing one, i know they are supposed to be fitted dry, ie, no sealant, but has anyone done one which has remained leak free without using a sealant??
I dont really want to be doing it again so would rather make sure i got it right first time, I've got the sump off already and cleaned the sump and block surfaces so they are spotlessly clean as are all the bolts etc.
