Strut brace

Wanting a rear strut brace for in the boot, wondering if anyone knows the best place to get them ?

Get one with a cross brace if possible. A single bar will not stiffen it up a great deal.

Where are the attachment points for the 519 brace? Are there existing hard points or do they need to be welded in?

I asked the same question yesterday. They use existing mounting points and come with all the required hardware to fit them (well the ones from 519 do anyway).

This is the Ultra Racing bar i fitted, nice finish & fitment.

This the BRS Motorsport bar.
I would expect this BRS type to be more effective but much more involved in fitting it. Also it impedes space much more than the Ultra type.

You drill holes & bolt it to the body as per the pic.

No real noticable difference, fitted mine entirely as a harness mount which it serves well as due the 4 secure mounting points.
The advantage of the Ultra Racing version is that it fits snuggly up against the rear seat backs thus takes up very little space, whereas the BRS version is going to dramatically reduce space.
