Stereo stuff

Bit of a rant but i find the stereo in the 197 really poor, lacks any kind of bass or decent mid range.

I have the Cabasse speakers fitted and an Alpine head unit, i also have a black box under the drivers seat but not sure what that is for.

Any advice on what works well in these as a standard swap would be great, not after subs either.

im not too clued up on this stuff but i think this set up is one of the better one in a clio..i have the same set up..the black box under the driver seat is a bass speaker(if im not mistaken)..it doesnt sound that bad and compared to a standard clio,you get a better sound im sure..

Just swap head unit first then take it from there.
the standard unit the Clio comes with is the weak point.
