Steering wheel strip

What's the best way of cleaning the yellow stitched strip at the top if my steering wheel?

Yeah it's red on mine. But is a bit blackened. Maybe an upholsterer could restitch?

Spray some interior cleaner onto a microfibre cloth (I used AG interior shampoo, but I'm guessing APC would do the same) and gently rub over. Brought mine up looking much brighter! Don't be tempted to press too hard or use a brush, could pull out the stitching.

That's what I was worried about yellows not a good colour lol

AG interior shampoo with soft cloth for red or yellow stitched
For leather steering wheel use AG leather cleaner & AG leather cream after.

Will make steering wheel last longer & new.

Neither the cup or sport steering wheel are real leather though

No you have to leave it over night would be better.
