I am probably gona make myself sound stupid here but I got my Clio 8 weeks ago and there are lights that come on when I steer from one side to another. Is there some reasonable explanation behind this extra or is it just a laugh!?

Some clios have upgraded lights which have a cornering light on them.
In gears 1-6 if you turn left (some say sub 30mph but I've seen mine work upto 40mph) then the left light comes on, if you turn right the right one comes on.
They are to help light around corners better and sometimes they do help but most of the time it's a frivolous extra but I like it.
