Standard Boot Tool Kit

Hi,

I'm new to Clio RS ownership and just bought an RS 200 EDC. I quite like my cars to be factory standard and I usually put them back to how they should be when I get a new car. This one seems to be missing the original boot tool kit. Does anyone have a photo of what should be in the standard kit? I've been searching around but cant find one anywhere.

I know the RS kit is different to the standard Clio kit, I'm guessing the RS doesn't have a spare wheel. It does looks like there's space for a jack etc though.

I did find a Mk3 one but I was told that the Mk4 has a different kit. I'm not sure how true that is though.

Any help would be appreciated

I found this Mk3 kit. The tray looks to be exactly the same as the Mk4 but I'm not sure if all these bits are compatible, or needed on the mk4 though.

Does anyone know what the two brackets here are used for, if they're needed on a mk4, and if the Mk3 jack is compatible with the jacking points on a mk4?

The chassis (base platform) of the Mk3 and Mk4 are the same. This means things like the jack should fit BUT there's a reason why RS come without one and a sparewheel. A standard jack like on the photo presumably doesn't fits under the car because it's too low so they'd have to design and build a special one which they obvioulsy didn't bothered with. There's no tire because of weight saving but mainly lack of storage space. Instead you'll get the tire repair spray. I know that an ordinary "scissors" style jack does fit. So if you really want one in the car you could get one of these and modify the tray or built your own one.

The brackets are for arresting something but I forgot what it was.

I've never used anything from that tray except for the tow hook.

I think all you should expect in a Mk4 200 RS, There is no spare wheel so no jack just a wheel brace so you can check wheel nut tightness. The engine is different so the bolts and brackets are no good. The jack would be a standard Clio one so look for a Mk4 Clio jack and check the wheel bolts, I have seen 197 Clio's with 17mm locking nuts and 19mm wheel nuts so one size nut wrench would be no good an extendable after market dual size wrench would be better.
