So, the passenger window decided to open itself last night...

Hi all, I was just wondering if any one else had encountered this. Last night, I checked all the cars as usual to make sure they were locked and the 197 windows were definitely closed.

I woke up this morning, looked at the car and thought "someone's smashed the window" as I could see clearly into the car. Luckily it was't broken, just fully open and, despite all the rain, only the door card was wet. I guess that means it hadn't been open that long.

As I reached into to car to check the seat, the alarm triggered (albeit weakly). The car started fine, window closed and all seems to be well again.

Any ideas?

As above. Are your footwells wet?

No wet footwells but I'll check the drain holes anyway (once it stops raining)
