Small Oil Leak

Noticed a faint smell of burning this morning from under the bonnet on the drivers side, after investigating it appears that a small amount of oil is on top of the engine around the bolts and is causing the smell.

Is this anything to worry about?

Quite a common problem Luke. The bolts just need taking out and a bit of silicone sealant put on. If you need to do more than one bolt do them one at a time.

Also check your spark plugs for oil and keep an eye on your oil u a usage. I had a similar issue that turned out to be the rocker cover gasket but more often than not its just the weeping bolts.

Ok thanks Fernandez thought I had read about it before, will clean it up although the car will going in 4 weeks but will keep an eye on it.
