Silvervisions

This is something that has been on the 'to do' list for a while now.

Can people link me up with exactly what I need please? I have no idea about type etc.

Is Phillips the best brand to go for? Easy to fit? Any cheaper brands out there?

Any help for a noob would be greatly appreciated. ;/

Silvertec do some, but I don't think they are bright enough. They are really easy to change (weird for a Renault I know)! You can get them from amazon quite cheap, but I can't remember exactly which ones we need. I think they are the straight pins, but check in the handbook.

You can get cheap ones, but their quality varies greatly. IE some appear to have the silver coating slapped on and let hardly any light through, others seem to fade very quickly and loose their silver appearance.

Because of these experiences with my 172's silvervisions i decided to pay a little extra this time for some Phillips ones. (you need the offset PIN type)

Just get silvatecs from eBay, cheapest i found at one point was £8. And they dont fade in silveryness! LOL.

Offset pin yes.

I just don't think they flash very bright though, the Silvertec ones.
