As the title state;

What are they actually there for?

Aesthetic or a purpose?

Thinking of removing my fog lights and putting some cooling ducts for the front brakes.

Anyone had overheating problems?

Not sure if I've seen it on a 200 but I could be wrong, a few people put blanks in, but cooling ducts for the brakes seems like a much better idea. They can get a little...warm... on track :smiley:

Angel (Cazan Racing) sells the fog light ducts. Though you have to run without arch liners.

1 question;

Why would it need to be kevlar and/or carbon fibre?

Thermal plastic would work just as good and would be a shed load cheaper?

It comes down to tooling costs Jack. The mould production costs for the carbon kevlar version are a few hundred quid. The tooling for a plastic injection mould runs into many thousands, plus you then have the cost of the plastic injection kit. This is ideal if your production run is in the thousands but for items that are very low volume its just not cost effective.
