Like has been said id rather have a low owner high miles car with servive than low miles, it does them no good stood then a quick thrash.
You will get storys all the time, some 172's are troublesome and some arnt.
Done worry too much avout the xenons , they arnt a straightforward swap nevermind what some say but go for the projector lights, they look just like xenons without the added cost
