So recently got hold of a clio 197 made up with the car apart from all its small faults after a extremely time consuming wash the car looks good again I’ve been reading up on the forum about issues and it’s got them all haha pulled the scuttle off to find a swimming pool cleaned the drains out and gave it all a good clean I have rapped some ptfe tape around the sensor on the inlet manifold and it’s got rid of the horrid kangaroo take off by about 90% now the car has a nasty creaking noise when turning showing down or taking off slowly so got it up in the air today to find two knackered top mounts and a snapped coil spring which has been snapped for some time going off the rusty break can’t find any play or worn bushes as yet most worrying part is the car had a mot two days before I picked it up with no advisories yet I’ve found a snapped spring and one tyre showing cords on inner edge hmm (friendly mot) springs to mind I have now owner the car for about 2 weeks and barely drove it with being away at sea also the car must of had a quick clean for sale as I cleaned the inner side of the wheels while they where off and they are silver inside yet anthracite outside haha car is slowly starting to show it’s faults. Can anyone tell me what colour the alloys are supposed to be from factory it’s a red f1 57 plate
