roof vent

I can get them for you much cheaper than R-Sport. But as said they are not suitable for a road car. You have to cut a hole in your roof and they do leak.

If you want details I can pm you tomorrow

You don't have to cut open your roof if you don't want? The R-Sport one has a whole in the back to help reduce drag. If you wanted, really, you can just run it ascetically with it just acting as a small inconvenience to the airflow and creating drag. Plus it will only really start affecting you at speeds over 30mph

They all have holes at the back but like Jack points out you could do that but you would have to bond it on. Still not good for your paint.

Iirc the RSport ones are fibreglass, not carbon and cost a small fortune. I could prob do a carbon one cheaper.

The car will be for race use only,so just to get some wind in,not tried it yet so don't know how hot it will be all suited up,so just looking at options if I decide to.
If I decide to just wanted to know where from and prices etc

If its for a race car and you have fixed Lexan side windows then you'll probably need one to help with demisting, unless of course you are opting for a heated windscreen.

The complete kit in unpainted fiberglass is £215 inc delivery. The kit includes:

  • Roof Vent x 1
  • Interior Vent x 1
  • Air direction diffusers x 2

My supplier is no longer making Carbon ones, I can get carbon ones from somewhere else but tbh they are extortionate and not worth the extra cost.

I don't think you could fit one very well without the hole in the roof it would stand proud.

I think you'd have to mod it a little to do this, you'd still be best bolting it rather than bonding it so some holes would have to be drilled.

I allready have a (rather large) hole in my roof so will be fitting one soon
