Rim Wax

i've used it and its ok,seemed to leave a few stains on the wheel no matter how long or short i left it before buffing off,it was warm so i'll give it another try, looked decent when i stood up and took a step back but i can't help but think there is something better available, anyone recommend anything better?

i also tried using autoglym car polish which gave a stronger but a bit uneven shine, weird

i tried it on my misses the other day, thought it worked alright.
Don't get me wrong, it goes on fine.

Using something like Poorboys Wheel sealant if you were in the same price bracket would give better longevity, but even then, that will only last weeks.

Using something like GTechniq C5 or Nanolex Wheel sealant is the long-lasting way to protect.

Ive used it for last year it good for the 1st couple of washes then its gone. but muck just falls off the 1st time you wash it after waxed

Gonna try somet different now its run out maybe poor boys stuff

I've used poorboys wheel sealant for years and never had a problem or thought I haven't but since having my wheels refurbed it ain't just washing the same and they have had 8 coats of wax on now
Might try Auto Finesse stuff now

That about sums up my use of it, i have one satin wheel and three gloss black ones and using this rim wax gives the satin one more of a shine to match but as said, it does not last long.

Don't really know as you can do the wheels with the wax what you put on the paint ???

Wax tends to be less resistant to heat from the brake dust than a sealant, I've been using dodo juice supernatural hybrid on my gloss black wheels on the meg for over 12 months after Matt at Monster Detail recommended giving it a go, seems to do a decent job

Knowsit.

Sealants are a better option for wheels.

Rim Wax, Poorboys, AF will all give protection, but not as much as G-techniq or Nanolex, or even a bodywork sealant.
