Reversed into a metal post!

Hi everyone, yesterday afternoon I reversed into a metal post in a car park that I just didn't see...

Looking at the damage I think I will need a new tailgate and bumper. Not taken it to a bodyshop yet as I am away from home for a few days.

Thought I'd post these to see what you think?

Boot is repairable, probaly bumper also.

Oh really? That's great to hear!

I wasn't too annoyed at the damage as I knew this could be sorted either way, It's the fact that I did it...

Will certainly take it to a few bodyshops for some quotes.

sorry to hear that mate..nearly happened to me the other day..had my mate in the car and he shouted me before i hit it..lucky..hope you manage to sort it cheap..

Quick update on this... Got a few quotes to get this repaired but decided that replacing the bumper and tailgate would be a cheaper option!

Picked up a bumper a couple of weeks ago, decent enough condition but does have the odd mark... Picked up a tailgate today with a spoiler on for a decent price, not sure what type of spoiler it is but it is a genuine 'Renault' item...

To be honest the tailgate could use a respray as there is a section of rust bubbles under the paint where the spoiler sits, but will sort this in time.

Thankfully there was no damage to the car behind the bumper.

Think it's from a clio dynamique.

Tce spoiler. These come bonded to their tailgates.

Not just TCE. The TCE can have the GT spoiler also.
