Removing starter button.

Taking out the centre console and I can't see how the starter button disconnects! Is it just a case of pull harder? A search didn't show up much, but I know a lot of people will have done this so any help is appreciated! :thumbsup:

2 squeeze clips either side on the rear of the button, squeeze them in and push the whole button unit out of the front of the console =)

Edit: can be a little tough, did bend my nail over and got a massive bruise doing mine the other day:thumb1: , but its ok nothing was broken and the bruise is going down nicely...

Your welcome, had someone pm me the other day asking for help. It really isn't that hard but first time I just didn't want to snap anything :-0

And I 2 hope it isn't a fault but guess your removing to wrap/spray

Mycentre console is being flocked ATM so got the gun metal colour out of a 200 in mine atm

I've already wrapped the dash strips in real CF but just picked up a spare centre console, so I was finding out how it all fits together before i have a go. Seems easy now, it's just finding out where all the clips are!

Also one of the bulbs has got a dodgy contact behind the console, and I thought I'd have a look as I'm tired of hitting it to fix it everytime haha!
