removing rear seats - help

I have started removing my rear seats. No problem with the base but the back rest is a little more difficult.

How do you remove the shaft at the bottom of the back rest from the eye (connected to the body) that the shaft pivots on?

You need to push open the cover with a screw driver, then pull out the base pin
easier with 2 people...

urm not easy to describe..where the seat pin clips in, the cover piece rotates round.

what you think is holding the seat base solid to the side of the car rotates. push it towards the boot with a screw driver. its really a hook that locks/unlocks
