Removing rear seats - any implications with MOT?

Hi,

Apologies in advance, probably asking a daft question!! I've searched and read a number of threads, but would appreciate advice/confirmation on the following.

If I remove the rear seats and everything that comes with that will the car pass the MOT? Is there anything that must be removed / left to ensure the car ticks all the correct boxes?

Also, are there any guides on removing rear seats etc or is it relatively straight forward?

Cheers!

If removing rear seats in theory you must remove all seat belts corresponding to that seat, otherwise it could fail having seats missing.
You may get an advisory stating the rear seats are missing. Just bare that in mind if fussed.

As above, pretty sure that if rear seats are missing, then the seat belts need to be removed as well to pass the MOT. Be warned if you decide to remove the belts that will throw up a light on your dash, which is another fail on an MOT. Easiest solution is probably to stick the seats back in for the MOT and then take them out again afterwards.

If the passenger seats are there, you must have the required safety equipment for each seat. With everything removed from the back, including all belts, they should only have to test the front two seats.
