Removing Rear Airbags

Good Afternoon Guys

I bought a 197 Saturday just gone and I am building it as a track car and I have removed all the rear interior, but one thing I haven't removed is the rear airbags as I was not sure if there was a certain way they needed to be disconnected and removed.

I wondered if anyone had done this and can explain how it is best done?
