Removing just the engine

Hi all,
Ready to pull the engine to replace the one I blew up at oulton park.
Just driveshafts left to pull but i was wondering if it's possible to pull just the engine and leave the gearbox in, maybe unbolt the intermediate bearing and lift forward.
Is there enough clearance to move the engine away from gearbox?

Car is a meglio.

How are you removing it? If you take the front-end off, taking the lot out in one go is easier. Just means you need to replace the gearbox oil.

Yep that was the plan, front end all off and was about to pull driveshafts but thought maybe enough room to separate engine and just pull that.
Everything else is disconnected.
