Removal of front upper grill vents

Sounds stupid but how guys? I don't want to break anything , I want to spray them satin black

Get yourself a butter knife and a rag, use the rag to protect the paint and prise from the bottom. I think there's 2 clips you need to release

wouldn't that snap the screws it's held one with tho!?

The upper grills aren't held on with screws, just clips. Mine weren't anyway
