Rear speakers

Hi i want to put some speakers in back where there's holes provided which just have covers on but bloke at halfords said there's nothing to mount them on/hold them in place? has anyone managed to put some speakers in the back? and if so how?

The holes are there, even the screws are, and if you're still struggling the wiring is also present. Guy in Halfords knows nothing.

I fitted some Pioneer ones in the back of mine. 5 minute job.

i have pioneer or kenwood fitted cant remember which tbh in the rear of my 197.

the speakers (new ones) will come with speaker speed clips that the screws go in to - so you can use these on the mounting holes on the rear side panels

even the wiring plugs there - really easy job !!!

thanks alot everyone. gonna get them sorted tomorrow. one last thing though, did you put in 6.5" speakers or 13cm, because iv heard someone mention they put 13cm speakers in even though the hole is 17cm lol

pretty sure i used 130 - but its easy to take the grill off and have a quick measure of the hole spacings
