So it seems it did, but I don't know how, as I thought Clio had bigger inner race

225 discs do not fit the 197/200 platform.
230/R26 discs do fit the 197/200 platform.

The discs are the same size but the bearings are smaller on the 225.

R26.R rear discs are similar to the 230/R26, so they fit too.

I think the rear discs are the same I was convinced they were different but it all comes down the bearing size I have a picture of a brand new genuine Clio 197 rear disc bearing 30mm internal diameter bearing, I think there is also 25mm bearing (Megane 175DCI) discs but I think the disc body is the same so a bearing change would be the worst case scenario.

R26.R rear discs are similar to the 230/R26, so they fit too.

Correct, R26R discs are the same just have a different pattern on the rotor itself.

If your after reasonably priced discs go for the Mtec ones. You can also add a black protective coating for a little extra so the non contact parts of the disc don't rust

A few people on this forum got that coated one, it was crap and came off, they then just sent a tin of paint to top it up....

Thanks for the info guys! Looks like I’m in for a disaster. As I’ve 25mm bearing disc arriving now & im guessing my 197 has 30mm. Is this inner race only? So I could exchange the bearings just? Thanks

I ordered 30mm bearing for one of my discs but it arrived too late for the MOT so I was forced to fit the brand new genuine discs I had sitting around the bearing kit I ordered was SKF VKBA 6799.

If your doing any work with the rear discs is check the ABS sensor APEC has a notice to check for corrosion behind the sensor mounting which causes the sensor to be damaged.

They where £35 I ordered from AutoDoc.co.uk which is actually a huge German company they ship from Germany the website makes you think they are a UK company they also run 2 other websites that are similar UK format. www.bestpartstore.co.uk and www.buycarparts.co.uk all operate from Berlin www.buycarparts.co.uk posted to me in a autodoc box.

Genuine new discs are around £160 for the pair if you look hard enough.
