Raider Purchase

Hi guys,

I’ve recently purchased number 22 of 50 raider Diavolo red. A real quality looking car.

It’s my first Clio and I was hoping for some peoples expertise on the matter.

I want to get it valued by someone that knows there things about the Clio Raider. This is purely for insurance purposes only and not resale.

Its 2012
41100 miles
FSH
Diavolo Matt Red which I believe only 11 were made.
Completely standard and not spoilt in any way.

If someone can advise and help that would be really appreciated. Look forward to the responses.

It's hard to tell really as the market is all over the place at the minute and these very rarely come up for sale anymore.

You know the price you paid to acquire the car so really that is the current worth of the car.

It would be very hard to replace if something did happen as it's such a rare car, however an agreed valuation on insurance is all about you being happy with the money you would get if something did happen.

As a personal opinion, I think a well specced similar mileage 200 would sell for 8-10k (not the 12k some are advertised for), I'd then add about 2k ish with it being a Raider.

What I did when I purchased my R26 recently was agree the valuation at a bit above what I paid, I will then assess the market etc each year and amend where necessary (If values are higher, increase the agreed valuation)

Appreciate the reply mate. I’ve set up an agreement with my insurance that if the worst was to happen then they would honour the purchase price rather then sending a clueless numpty to inspect, then payout a massively unacceptable sum.

I will definitely try and keep on top of the market yearly to update the insurance with a valuation. It’s just really hard when there are next to none to compare with.

If there are any people on here that have purchased a raider recently, it would be nice to know how much they paid. That’s if they are willing to divulge that info.

Big Steve bought one recently.

I am sure that he posted about it on this site as well but I cannot find the thread.

Thanks for the tag @burrellbloke. I'm on here as well, lurking around in the dark corners.

Gave my Raider a clean at the weekend:

Coming back to @Rumbles296 original question, I don't think that the Raider is known about or held in that much reverence as it's dam near unknown. Certainly don't think it's worth crazy money over a good condition 200 yet..
