Projector Hid or not

Thought they were H1 not H7 on the projectors I've ordered a H1 Hid kit.

That's what I thought too. I wondering just how easy it is to swap to projectors from standard lights.

I've just installed my projectors and hids today on a 200. It took about 3 hours in total. I followed the guide on how to take the bumper off and it was fairly easy.

The projector lamp is H1, the main and turning/cornering are H7. The turning lamp will not work due to the lack of wiring on the loom. I just put a spare H7 in which was left over from my reflector lights.

How do they look did you get the 35 W ones and where did you hide the ballasts any probs with the radio reception .

I got the 35w type and they look good. I'll find out if there's an improvement later when it gets darker.

The ballasts are mounted under the headlight units. Like these:

Not tested the radio yet, but will let you know later on.

Just swap whatever bulb, be it h1 or h7, whatever they are, with a normal bulb. The bulb type doesn't change because its hid.

It's not difficult and there's loads of guides on here.
