Problems with 1st and 3rd gear

Hi there for what I've read on here try seems to be a problem with me putting the 200 in 1st and 3rd most of the time when comin down the gears it will not go in 3rd you have to try a couple of times iam starting to get the dreaded gearbox issues ?

I wouldn't worry mine have always been tricky coming down the gears rather then up.
There's been probably a handful of times, since owning the clio, I've gone 6/5 down to 3 and had to go into 4th to get 3rd after. Just a fussy box.

75k, 7 years old and it's been that way since 4 years and 50k ago (when I picked it up)

How old is your clio??? is it under warranty if so get on to RUK

Give RUK a ring, might be worth changing Gearbox oil in the meantime though as a few people on here have shown improvements as the state of the original oil is a joke!
