pressure washer

is there out in particular i should be looking out for mate like makes or output figures. where im concerned is the power im worried about damaging paint (maybe a stupid comment :tongueout:). im desperate also to get some snow foam set up you see so something that compatible ..... cheers

I'm no specialist but that was the one I used there are people on here that can advise you better

just had a gander and that seem fair reasonable mate. i take i will get no probs then with paint? im sure i read on here somewhere somebody stripped there wheels with a pressure washer and naturally it put me a bit on edge haha.

Tesco are doing karchers cheaper than I can buy them at moment £85 incl the patio cleaner, but if ya see a different karcher that ya want just pm me and I'll get ya a price as I sell them....... But no nothing about how good they are as its only something we retail through ties within power tool industry

Like any pressure washer the more you use them the more there likely to wear
You have to be careful using PW on your car mate it can knacker your locks and if you have any loose paint work on wheels ect it will strip it of
Use carefully and you will be fine

Don't forget we are in a drought so you arent allowed to use a hosepipe at the moment.

My pressure washer works a treat from the water butt though  (which is constantly full at the moment!)

Lol I did that and took all the paint of my back wheel:chair:

Oop North we have loads of water

Also would be interested in this thread, Nilfisk or Karscher for a base model?

We now sell Nomad pressure washers, which are completely legal for use during the hosepipe ban. They have their own water tank, as well as a rechargeable battery/12v car power cable + mains charger, so they're completely mobile.

Personally I've never been a fan of Karscher, I think the base model stuff is very disappointing and our one is very intermittent when it chooses to work. Nilfisk have a good rep though aren't as easy to pick up extra parts (snow lance etc) though they are available if you look around.

I'll be going Nilfisk next time around. But at the moment I live in a 2nd floor apartment so just borrow the in-laws when I'm round for sunday dinner

I went through 3 pressure washers from various companies in 6 months then got a karcher k3.65 and never looked back. Had it 5 or 6 years and still going strong despite freezing up in the garage a few times in the winter.

I noted the other day they now do them that can suck from a bucket or other water source as well as a hosepipe so for those in a drought area can get round it.
