The saying is correct ! "Time really does fly" as you get older......Myself and Jimmy seem to be starting two of these every month at the moment

Just going back one stage first of all: The entries for June were outstanding yet again. And both myself and Jimmy think the quality is getting better and better as time goes on. Its great to see people so enthusiastic about being given a challenge AND wanting to post their interpretations to share with us here. We thank and appreciate the efforts gone to by everyone who participates in these monthly comps. Give yourselves a clap

So: With Junes excellent entries now collated together and the voting taking place - we move swiftly on to July's competition topic.

Which simply is TRANSPORT

No clues, hints or being pushed in any particular direction from me this month.

Just a topic with a huge scope and its upto you the entrants to see that as you wish. And as ever the forum will decide if you've captured and covered the topic suitably or not by way of a vote !

Thanks Shuv, excellent topic choice: really does leave it open to a lot of interpretation - could make for some interesting entries this month!

Yeah, we really do appreciate the support that POTM gets - both from the members that enter pictures, to those that take the time to vote on their favourites. Looking forward to plenty more of both over the rest of the year!

Well, after consulting the "Rules of POTM", and after much deliberation, I've decided to go with a picture that my wife took. This was taken while we were on our mini "Tour De France" in the Clio. It's also got the added bonus of a French 197 in the shot too!

Late entry but it's the only thing I have got.. for some people cars are just a mode of transport but each and every one of us see them for more. My everyday mode of transport I have spent more than just money on to make it my own and as much as i wanted a train or a bus in the picture I feel having my car doing what I have built it for not jusr a trip to work is why I have picked this...
