Post Office Alternatives

Evening all,

I'm sending some low weight items in boxes that would be deemed to be medium sized parcel with the post office. What are my alternatives as posting would be about a fiver each. (I've sold the items for about a tenner so not really worth my time).

I had some major issues with my hermes, had three parcels to send all around 1kg and was told they would be picked up Thursday but didn't get picked up til Tuesday the week after, asked courier that arrived why and was told she only got the order on Monday! Phoned myhermes and got the most uninterested customer service staff ever who did nothing but apologise, also items did not arrive at their destination for 4 days.

I'd try interparcel I think it's called much more reliable

I've always found DPD (or whatever their called) the best. But then again, I've nnever had a problem with Hermes either.

NEVER use Citylink.

I always use http://www.parcel2go.com/

But be sure to avoid Yodel...worst people I've ever used. And make sure you're getting the parcel delivered to an address not a collection point
