Poly Hangers

Hi lads, can we get poly hangers for the clio 197? Could do with some for my exhaust

You'd need to get under the car to have a wee look and take a couple of sizes.

well what you looking to replace, has your the one thats asked for poly bush hangers. theres only two you really can replace as the mid section one is more of a bracket than a hanger. but the two on the back box (either side of the tailpipes) are more like hangers. you will have to remove the diffuser to get a good look at them

right cheers for the info. Think im just going to take it into a garage and get them to have a look and check the condition of the current hangers/bushes. Could just be the heatshield thats loose thats causing the exhaust to hit it.

wrap the jubilee clip around the rubber mount and tinghten it up stops the rubber streching due to the weight

the two rear rubber hangers on the 197 arent that soft to be honest - the system doesnt have much movement built in

instead of jubilee clips you can use large cable ties if needed

what would be the point in that? generally if its knocking on something then its knocking on something close to the car,this will only pull it closer to whatever its knocking on,needs aligning properly and all will be well i'd say,i'm pretty much 100% sure it will be knocking on the spot welded seams just above the diffuser outlets

it could be anything thats catching, but i have found in the past that if the backbox of the car is hanging to low it can cause the front section of of the exhaust to sit higher. on this set up it could be catching the rear axle beam. more then likely not fitted properly
