Petrol light

Hi mate. The light won't come on because the distance showing is what u have left before light kicks in.

Yeah this isn't right. It shows miles to empty not miles until the light comes on.

Does the light not come on when you have a Gallon of petrol left in the tank? so it all depends on your miles to the gallon

This seems the most accurate. My avg. MPG for last 1500 miles is 29.5 and the fuel light seems to come on when I've got 30 miles left in the tank. So at 29.5 mpg, the light coming on at 1 gallon left sounds the most sensible. Especially as the light comes on at varying miles for people - this seems a solid explanation

I just gave it a quik burst and that on way home but that's about it.. It was reset the mpg and it's slowly going up.
