Perhaps a Silly Question Regarding Audio...

I have a feeling I might regret asking this in that the answer may well be very simple but I've searched the manual and on here to no avail so here goes.

I recently took a LY 200 as part exchange for my VX220 (very coincidental since I traded my LY R27 to get the VX in the first place) and noticed that there seems to be 2 audio out ports in the centre console behind a spring loaded flap just about the cup holders. Perhaps I'm being daft but, why is this here?

I thought that, but a standard aux cable doesn't fit the port. That plus there is no aux option on the stereo.

Am I being a muppet here? Wouldn't be the first time!

Its a phono aux lead like you get for a hifi, red and white
