Evening all..
Today I brought a Clio 197 for what seems like a bargain price to replace my E36 track car..
The E36 was great fun.. Very light and pretty quick. Fully stripped out, polycarbonate windows etc... A proper track car although it was a little too twitchy I found..
I'm looking to race next year so bit the bullet, sold the E36 within 24 hours and got the 197 with the mind set of preparing it for the Clio Road Road series for converted road cars (not the full cup cars supplied by Renault)
Only driven this home tonight but seems really good, handles well on the road and the brakes are awesome! Stops very well. Also has some HID's fitted
I'll add some better pics in the morning when it's not so dark!
Spec wise it's a 2006, 91k miles in Black. VERY clean car inside and out.. Was owned by a guy who worked for Renault doing painting & valets so has been very well looked after.
Anyway, looking forward to using the car on the road for a bit before starting the race car build
